I was inspired by their work in our community and wrote & recorded this on a 4-track in my apartment one morning in 1997.

Sure,
You've heard it all before.
So why do you ignore
That the forces of hatred
Are waging a war.

That hope is alive.

Sad,
Life is very sad.

Is born with the mission

To the sickness
That sadness becomes.

When the drugs have you hooked

From the clutches of cold-hearted people

When they offer to buy your next meal.

Don't pretend that nobody cares anymore.
