Written about a house that we looked at buying. It was in foreclosure and when we went inside, you could see the family had been evicted near Christmas time. The tree was still up and decorated, there was old food in the refrigerator, and toys scattered on the ground. After some research, we found that the owner was in the National Guard and had been sent out on back to back deployments. The income was not equal to what he made when he worked in the private sector and so his family was foreclosed on while he was at war. We need to help keep people IN their homes.
